Installations for me
were a way of questioning what we see
when we look at a work of art.
I began by asking viewers to interact with
sculptural objects as a way of diffusing the importance of the objects themselves. As the installations evolved, viewer interaction and experience became central to the work, culminating in Empty Room with a View, a site-specific installation. Los Angeles Institute of Contemporary Art.
